Public Hearing Schedule for Review of Agency Regulations

PUBLIC NOTICE

House Bill 147, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by Governor Markell in 2015, requires executive branch agencies to review their existing regulations to determine whether they should be amended or rescinded.

Pursuant to 29 Del. C. ยง 10407 of the Regulatory Review Act, the Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security (DSHS) will be conducting a review of all its regulations that have been adopted in the last four years.

Do you have specific ideas about which regulations that should be modified or eliminated? If so, we want to hear from you.

As part of the review process, each state agency will hold public hearings and accept written comments and suggestions on its regulations.
